Precept#7
Celebrate everything! Celebration is an indicator of both Gratitude and Optimism.

Many of us miss the moments to celebrate- especially at work- sometimes it’s because we haven’t yet achieved what we set out to achieve, at other times it’s because we don’t want the team to become overconfident with early success, and also because many of us just do not have a predisposition to celebrate and be joyous at work!

As a macro culture we already have a celebratory orientation to festivals, birthdays etc. – it’s important to bring this into our working rhythm at Work, as the Team achieves smaller milestones or demonstrates desired behaviours.

Being appreciative and celebratory tells the team you have not missed the effort to reach a milestone, that you are Grateful for the work done, and are optimistic of doing more.

Even with family, children and friends- become the force that moves the Group to celebrate- so we can show and teach Gratitude, and that we are present in the moment to appreciate the Grace we are experiencing, and that it is an opportunity to spread Hope and Optimism….
