Precept#5

As part of my series on 10 Precepts that Changed my life, here is Precept #5
We often admire people who are successful and well-known and rich and especially those who have fame, money and success.
All are impressed with the outcomes of what people have and we are full of admiration for Start-up success stories and valuations, those who have built vast empires and earned both fame and glory. Many want the outcomes through short cuts by pretending to be self-styled success stories without doing the work. Plenty examples on Social media- the aspiration is great but huge naivety in engaging with the outcomes of hard work.
The truth is that those who have succeeded exceptionally not only apply their ingenuity, creativity and Talent to succeed, they work the hardest while others are taking it easy, hoping to manifest success automatically.
I heard this quote while I was still a Student and it has egged me in to work hard and not take my Talent for granted..
